Ropes made with this technology consist of four layers of polyamide. The sandwich construction and specially developed staple fibres give them increased durability and very pleasant handling.
Static ropes with a sandwich construction of braided layers will hold a suspended person or load even if the sheath or the core is severely damaged, without the rope breaking completely.

Ropes made with this technology consist of 4 layers, which is a typical feature of the new products. The combination of the layers used and the material treatments gives the rope as a whole increased, high durability.

Parallel core — like all four layers, it's made of polyamide.

Properties and handling
The ropes offer balanced parameters and very pleasant handling. They keep their round shape in use, so they run well through any belay device. The technology used significantly eliminates sheath slippage and, together with the material, contributes to the increased mechanical durability of the ropes as a whole.
The ropes' parameters are balanced so that they give the ropes excellent flexibility, compactness and above all durability; another strength is easy tying and untying of knots. A major benefit is a strong sheath with excellent abrasion resistance. The ropes don't stiffen and they work with most belay devices available.
The ropes will be available on the market in a standard finish and in a Teflon-treated Protect Shield finish.
Salamander floating rope
The Salamander floating canyoning rope, made with the same technology, has excellent knotability even after repeated soaking in water, and keeps its softness and increased water resistance — properties that make it suited above all to canyoning, which is what it primarily aims at. Salamander is a light rope that keeps its user-friendly properties for a long time thanks to its construction. The construction and the materials used help minimise the rope's shrinkage in a damp environment.
