Launch of the patented Force 11.0 rope
A special rope using a patented technology that combines the material with the construction of the rope itself. A rope for use in extremely demanding conditions (e.g. rescue teams, firefighters, police and other special units) thanks to its increased cut resistance.

We made the Static 9.0 type A rope
We were the first in the world to braid and certify a 9 mm static rope to EN 1891 type A.

The first triple-certified rope
Master 8.9 – the first dynamic rope certified in all three categories (single, half, twin).

Fan favourite Master 9.7 wins a prestigious award
The Master 9.7 rope wins the "Testsieger 07/2013" award in Alpin magazine. In the same year, the Master 8.9 rope also received the "Guides Choice" award from the American Alpine Institute.

Introducing the new LOWE technology
Thanks to a unique combination of materials, we reduced the weight of the rope without changing its diameter, in compliance with the EN892 standard.

Rebranding
We say goodbye to the old logo with the climber, who earned plenty of nicknames over eleven years, and along with it our claim changes from "feel it" to "tied to be free".

Adam Ondra becomes a Tendon ambassador
Adam Ondra, the most successful Czech climber, became our ambassador for two years.

A year rich in new ropes
We launched the Master Pro 9.2 rope, which became one of our most popular ropes. The same year also saw the birth of the lightest twin rope in the world, the Master 7.0.

TeFIX is born
About TeFIX technology →The patented TeFIX® technology permanently bonds the rope's core to the sheath. This bond prevents sheath slippage. We achieved this by adding a special material between the core and the sheath. A subsequent technological process then creates a firm yet flexible bond between these two parts of the rope. The rope has 0% sheath slippage, a much longer lifespan, and is soft and superbly easy to handle.

In collaboration with a sheltered workshop, we introduced original handmade merch from the Green Way range, made from leftover sheath material.

We introduced the favourites Master PRO 9.2 and Master 9.7 in a new colour variant called NEON.

Master 9.4 sets off for Antarctica
Tested in Antarctica →We joined the Tested in Antarctica project (2023-2024) run by the Faculty of Science at Masaryk University. The project focuses on verifying the properties of specific products and technologies in extreme conditions at the Czech J. G. Mendel scientific station on James Ross Island, Antarctica.

Tendon ropes climb eight-thousanders in the Himalayas
In July, a Czech expedition made up of Radar, Banán and Háček became the first in the world to reach the summit of Muchu Chhish in Pakistan's Karakoram range, with the help of the Master 7.0 rope.
Just a few weeks later, the Master PRO 7.6 rope was part of a women's expedition made up of Karolína Grohová and Lenka Erlebachová, who reached the summit of Gasherbrum, an eight-thousander in Pakistan.
