Introduction:

I'm a mountaineer, I'm 26 years old, I come from Považská Bystrica and I'm a loyal member of the local climbing club HK Manín. I started climbing in 2016 on the crags in my home area, the Manín Gorge. Right from the start, the older climbers drummed into me that climbing isn't only about physical performance, but also about adventure, experiences and friendship on the rope. Those values shaped my further development as a climber, and maybe that's exactly why I came to love climbing in the mountains most of all. I try to be an all-round climber, I enjoy getting better in every discipline, whether it's sport climbing or drytooling. In the end, though, all my effort always heads towards one thing: getting better in the mountains. After several years I found what is probably my greatest passion, which is winter mixed climbing, alpinism, and also traditional exploratory climbing. Although these are some of the hardest types of climbing, they are all the richer in experiences and adventure.
