How does Complete shield protect the rope?
TEFLON ECO is applied to both the sheath and the core of the rope in very fine particles, which create an almost impermeable protective layer over the whole rope against water, dust and other particles that could damage the rope’s sheath or core. Every fibre of the rope is thus protected against dust, water and other dirt that could otherwise damage the rope.
The treatment also extends the product’s lifespan. Ropes with Complete shield technology are softer at the same time and meet the requirements of the UIAA 101 standard.
